Is The Academic really a Spurs bar? I’ve been there and I didn’t get that vibe.

Pauline King, our Vancouver board member, has been negotiating with them to provide a place where Spurs fans can get together to watch games. Pauline has the details, but I understand they’ve agreed to PVR games that are on too early for the West Coast and to show them at a later time.

Anyone know if all Spurs games are played at Aw Shucks in Aurora? Doesn’t look like much of a sports bar (didnt even see a TV in the website pics). If so, I would love to join and become a member here! If not, I will continue to scare my wife by cheering from the couch! :)

Kev for me becoming a member is more that getting something, its also giving and helping Spurs Canada become stronger. Pls make a commitment and we will ask others to come to Aurora too. In fact one of the members might just buy you a beer and right there you would get a chunk back from the membership fee.
