Versus and Alternate Universes
Just when you thought you had seen everything along comes this week.
Swansea looked liked Real Madrid 1959-60 When they took on Tottenham in Wales. And it looked more like April Fools than New Year when Chelsea got destroyed by Villa right after Man U lost 3-2 to a killer Blackburn team. Arsenal proceeded to tie Wolves at home and Sundersland then beat City and then the Arse lost to Martin Jol’s Fulham.
That was a bizarre run of results but our glorious boys not only kept pace but gained a little and we still have that Everton match in hand at the Lane,this coming week.
So things are looking rosey for sure for the good guys.
Just when a manager looked like getting sacked he goes and beats Man U at Old T. Amazing.
Of course I am saying nothing about Andy Carroll and Fernando Torres…Thats 85 million pounds of impotency while Peter Crouch and a bunch of part timersand ex bricklayers from around the league score at will.
But still our boys showed more consistency than they did all last season by keeping up the pressure on the Manchester teams while Chelsea,Liverpool and the Arse kept up the rear of the top group followed by the coal miners of Newcastle.
Yes we are close and yes nothing is for sure but we seem to be as stable as anyone coming into the New Year. So Lets keep cheering the boys and honouring Sir Harry for making it happen MOST of the time!!!!!
